About Me
"Dance can be like a conversation over coffee, light and fun or deep and heartfelt."
Sharon's passion for movement started when she was young, beginning dance lessons at the age of three. In her early 30's Sharon discovered partner dance and it changed everything. She soaked up each step, each technical instruction and travelled anywhere dance would take her.
Sharon strives to meet her students wherever their relationship with dance is, and hopes they feel empowered and excited after each lesson.
Sharon has been bringing her unique blend of technique and enthusiasm to the Okanagan dance world since 1998. Her breadth of experience is extensive, as she not only teaches Ballroom & Latin (as a qualified Canadian Dancesport Federation member), but also Swing (including West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop!), Salsa, Country, and, notably, the Argentine Tango.
Sharon instructs group and private lessons, leads workshops and demonstrations, and host social dances and weekend workshops (including the one of a kind, all-genres, Okanagan Dancefest). In her free time Sharon loves spending time with family and being outdoors.
